ABOUT DR. FRADKIN
Yuli Fradkin, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist who has practiced for more than 25 years. His education includes Rutgers University and NYU School of Medicine, and he is affiliated with Mount Sinai.
Much of his work is with adults whose depression has not lifted after several antidepressants. He also treats obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). He sees patients in English and Russian.
His approach is unhurried and evidence-driven. Before he recommends a treatment, he wants to know what you have already tried, at what dose and for how long, and what got in the way. That history usually points to the right next step. He explains the reasoning, the risks and the alternatives so you can decide together. Meet the rest of our care team.

CLINICAL FOCUS
Depression that has not improved after two or more adequate antidepressant trials. This is where TMS, Spravato and ketamine are most often considered. More on treatment-resistant depression
He assesses whether TMS suits you, sets your treatment plan and reviews your progress during the course. A standard course is usually 30-36 sessions over 6-9 weeks; your psychiatrist sets your schedule.
OCD care built on medication and therapy, with other evidence-based options discussed openly when first-line treatment has not been enough.
Dr. Fradkin sees patients in English and Russian, which helps when you are describing symptoms and history in detail.
